Code of Conduct
The Waycode Community Code of Conduct outlines expectations for all members and how we maintain a safe, inclusive, and productive community.
Our Pledge
In the interest of fostering an open and welcoming environment, we as contributors and maintainers pledge to making participation in our community a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of age, body size, disability, ethnicity, gender identity and expression, level of experience, education, socio-economic status, nationality, personal appearance, race, religion, or sexual identity and orientation.
Our Standards
Examples of Acceptable Behavior
- • Using welcoming and inclusive language
- • Being respectful of differing opinions and experiences
- • Gracefully accepting constructive criticism
- • Focusing on what is best for the community
- • Showing empathy towards other community members
Examples of Unacceptable Behavior
- • The use of sexualized language or imagery and unwelcome sexual attention
- • Trolling, insulting/derogatory comments, personal attacks
- • Public or private harassment
- • Publishing others' private information without consent
- • Other conduct which could reasonably be considered inappropriate
Enforcement
Community members who violate the Code of Conduct may be temporarily or permanently removed from community spaces at the discretion of the Waycode community leadership.
Enforcement Actions
- 1.Correction: A private, written warning providing clarity around the nature of the violation.
- 2.Warning: A warning with consequences for continued behavior.
- 3.Temporary Ban: A temporary ban from community interactions.
- 4.Permanent Ban: A permanent removal from the community.
Reporting Code of Conduct Violations
Instances of abusive, harassing, or otherwise unacceptable behavior should be reported by contacting the community leadership team.

In-Platform Report
Use the report feature on any post or user profile
Confidentiality
All reports are reviewed confidentially and the reporter's identity will be protected upon request.
Appeals Process
Members who believe they have been unfairly penalized may appeal the decision. Appeals should include:
- • A clear explanation of why you believe the decision was unfair
- • Any additional context or evidence
- • A commitment to following the Code of Conduct going forward
Appeals should be sent to our leadership team within 30 days of the enforcement action.
Scope
This Code of Conduct applies to all community spaces online and offline, including but not limited to:
- • The Waycode platform and website
- • Community forums and discussion boards
- • Social media channels managed by Waycode
- • In-person events and meetups
- • Communication between community members
