Profiles & Following

Your profile is your public identity on Waycode. Use it to showcase who you are, what you're working on, and how others can follow your journey.

Your Profile

Each user has a profile page that can be visited by others using your username. It usually includes:

  • Basic info like your name, username, avatar, and short bio
  • High‑level stats (followers, following, key contributions)
  • A list of your publications and community posts

Your email address and other sensitive details are kept private and are not shown to other users.

Following Other Members

Following someone is the easiest way to keep track of what they publish and how they participate in the community.

  1. 1

    Visit their profile

Search for a username or click on someone's name from a publication or community post.

  2. 2

    Click Follow

Use the follow button on their profile to start following them. You'll see an updated follower count instantly.

  3. 3

    Unfollow anytime

If you change your mind, clicking the button again will unfollow them and remove future updates from your feed.
